French Alps Paintig Holiday
You are invited to a painting holiday in the French Alps featuring 5 art classes taught by Irish urban sketcher, Sebastian Thommen. This vacation package is equal parts cultural experience and art workshop. The medieval town of Annecy (pronounced un-see) will be our home for an exciting week of
Featuring watercolour classes with Sebastian Thommen
workshops and touring four castles and the French Alps! Annecy is known as
"the Venice of France" because of the small canals and streams that meander through town and the many charming bridges used to cross them.

Together our small group of 10-15 participants will paint the Alps, visit castles, taste local French food and wine and more! We are looking forward to
making art in good company. Average temperatures for that week in May are highs of 69°F (21°C) and overnight lows of 49°F (10°C)--perfect for a lovely painting

Cala Tuent and Alma’s expertise makes for a perfect paradise for yoga & art, this will be my fith time going back with watercolours and yoga matt in hand, but this time I’m going back to SHARE my love of Watercolour and nature…can’t wait!

Faro - Workshop
Olhão, Portugal
This art retreat is based in a renovated 19th century building on a tree-lined avenue in the old town. Low-key bars, restaurants and ice-cream parlours are virtually on the doorstep and within 10 minutes’ walk are the waterfront promenade, the market (designed by Gustav Eiffel) and the ferries which run to the beautiful islands just offshore. This is a great base for our included excursions, to use one of our bikes to discover local villages, or follow an eco-guide in search of wildlife. Casa Rosa is also a boutique retreat where you can slow right down to Portuguese pace: tanning on the roof terrace before strolling out to a café for lunch, or spending all on one of the islands’ superb beaches.
